...GNU/Linux is moving! |
| GNU/Linux is wearing the blue jacket. IBM has released CBEA, a new computer architecture which has been revealed as one of the most advanced engineering products of this new century. And it runs the best operating system, of course. |
This project is my first try to program Cell Broadband Engine Architecture (CBEA). During 5 months I have learned all about the new concepts of this architecture and then, through the first release of the IBM SDK, I have achieved an alpha implementation of the Smith-Waterman algorithm.
Be welcome to Viability of CBEA for scientific computing, the project that aims to finish my Computer Science career at FIB.
